Fabrication of heating surfaces

heating surfaces: gas-tight membrane panels, convection heating surface assemblies, economizers, heat-recovery steam generator modules, headers and other equipment:

proizvodstvo_poverhnostei_nagreva1.jpgIn fabrication of the said heating surfaces, the combined production lines and welding plants supplied by VKW and DEUMA machines are used based on submerged-arc welding of gas-tight panel elements up to 800 mm wide and 27 m long, applying tube-bar-tube welding, so that upon completion, the above tube-bar-tube subpanels are welded together with gantry welding machines to fabricate a membrane panel up to 3 meters wide.  The production of the heating surfaces includes the unique combined production system for fabrication of membrane economizers where the tubes are finned longitudinally by high-frequency welding with “MEKOPON”.
  • the panels are bent with special horizontal and vertical bending machines for right-hand and left-hand bending of the panels up to 3 m wide; proizvodstvo_poverhnostei_nagreva2.jpg
  • the bending machines for fabrication of boiler interconnecting piping used for bending tubes of 76 to 426 mm in diameter;
  • equipment for fabrication of convection heating surfaces allowing for bending tubes with an outside diameter from 25 mm to 60 mm and with a bending radius ratio Rb / Dt > 1;
  • the Company’s internal fabrication of headers to be assembled with the heating surfaces is equipped with all required drilling, machining and welding equipment.


heat-Recovery Steam Generators:

The Company’s production area specializing in fabrication of the HRSG is characterized as follows:
  • the total production area is 15 000 m2;kotli_utilizatori.jpg
  • used are three production lines (HAN SUNG) for spiral finning of tubes with Ø38 mm and L=22 m having its production capacity of 40 000 tubes/year, or 5 500 tons/year;
  • the maximum sizes of modules are 3500 х 3500 х 26000 mm;
  • the maximum module single weight is 160 tons;
  • an aggregate capacity of the HRSG module production line is 1,2 GW, or 14 000 tons;
  • the production concept is to provide a complete fabrication cycle starting with tube finning and ending with shipping of prefabricated HRSG modules which is concentrated within the same production area ;
  • the times required for fabrication of one HRSG is as follows:
— the vertical HRSG for power units up to 200 MW – 6 months;
— the horizontal HRSG for power units up to 250 MW – 4 months.
