Krasny Kotelshchik Expands Cooperation with Russia's Leading Academic Institutions
The visit consisted of two principal parts: taking part in a vacancy fair, and meeting the students who study at the university’s sub-department of steam generator building and steam generator nits, which is relevant for Krasny Kotelshchik.
TKZ representatives told the students about up-to-date software used for equipment design, the company's priority practices in the sphere of personnel recruiting, and career opportunities for graduates.
Discussions took place about the possible participation of Krasny Kotelshchik’s designers in graduate examinations, and the practical training of the Tomsk Polytechnical University’s teachers at the Taganrog enterprise.
This is the sixth visit of TKZ representatives to Russia's leading academic institution to have taken place during the past year. The principal purpose of such official visits is to recruit young engineering personnel to Krasny Kotelshchik.
Today, eight students from the Tomsk Polytechnical University stated their willingness to come to TKZ for winter and summer practical training. Depending on how the training goes, their possible employment at Krasny Kotelshchik after graduation will be considered.
"It is not always possible to find personnel capable of creating the quality of innovative products sought after at a specific enterprise on the available job market. The way out of this situation is our active participation in the academic training of young specialists," comments Elena Solovyova, TKZ’s HR director. "That is why we build up cooperation with leading academic institutions, meet students and teaching staff on a regular basis, and look for new interaction patterns. We are sure that, apart from improving their proficiency, our participation in their educational processes also means young designers adapt quicker to work at our plant."
