“Krasny Kotelshchik” Launched Waste Sorting Pilot Project

The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ) is implementing up-to-date environmental solutions: segregated waste collection containers appeared on the territory of the company. Installation thereof is another step forward to forming the environmental consciousness among TKZ people.

The first segregated waste collection containers were installed at three company entrance control posts: Central, North-Western and Eastern. The number of employees passing through the entrance control posts was taken into account at choosing the places of container installation. The containers are freely available and are intended for glass, plastic, paper, etc.

The new project is aimed at forming the proper environmental habits with the company employees and members of their families. Waste segregation at work and home should become a regular practice of each employee and the best daily contribution into the environment protection. Further to this, such initiative on the part of TKZ people should draw attention of Taganrog citizens to the environmental issues of Taganrog.
