Ahead of Machine Builder’s Day and to mark the 129th anniversary of the foundation of the Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ), the employees were honored with awards of the federal, regional, municipal and corporate levels.

The Award ceremony, titled “Valuable people of “Krasny Kotelshchik” had a solemn setting. Certificates of honor, appreciation letters and medals were presented by the honorary guests: Andrey Saveliev, Minister of Industry and Energy of Rostov region, Viktor Netesanov, Vice-president of the Employers’ Federation of Rostov region, Roman Koryakin, Chairman of the City Council, Oleg Shehovtsov, Deputy Chief of the Taganrog City Administration in charge of Economic policy.

Andrey Saveliev, Minister of Industry and Energy of Rostov region:

– Taganrog Plant “Krasny Kotelshchik” is rightfully considered the flagship of the Rostov region economy and one of the country’s leaders in power engineering. In the last few years, the enterprise confidently broke into the nuclear energy market. It is clear proof of high quality and competitive advantage of your products, further demonstrated by its extensive global supply network. The enterprise shows stable growth, increases production volumes, carries out modernization, implements social initiatives and ensures a decent level of wages. I know that professional and tightly welded TKZ team can handle any tasks. The regional administration is always willing to show support to the enterprise.

Viktor Netesanov, Vice-president of the Employers’ Federation of Rostov region:

– We see that besides the development of production, social sector receives a lot of attention as well. Company’s slogan – “The Plant – More than just a job” – says a lot about the systematic career orientation activities, attention to employees, their families and kids, commitment to personnel training and development. All of these are the values that make a strong company brand and strengthen its stability and reputation.

Roman Koryakin, Chairman of the Taganrog City Council:

– For the enterprise, 129 years is just the beginning of a longer story. Not only did “Krasny Kotelshchik” withstand difficult times, it also became the symbol of reliability and professionalism. Plant’s main value is its people. Thanks to hard work, energy and loyalty of the team, the enterprise lives on, grows and helps the country. There is a sense of special gratitude for preserving the legacy. On the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, declared by the president of the Russian Federation the year of the Protector of the Motherland, boilermakers initiated the reconstruction of the Great Patriotic War memorial, thus expressing homage to the heroes who gave their lives for the sake of future generations.

Oleg Shehovtsov, Deputy Chief of the Taganrog City Administration in charge of Economic policy:

– “Krasny Kotelshchik” plays the most important role in Taganrog’s city life. It is not just about the stable tax revenues to the budget, but also about social activism. The plant does not stand aside from the needs of the city: it provides support to educational institutions, participates in charitable initiatives, and contributes to sports and cultural projects. All of this commands genuine respect.

Festive events dedicated to the remarkable occasions not only included the honoring of the best employees but also turned into a vivid expression of gratitude to the entire workforce - people who sincerely love their craft and proudly bear the name of “boilermaker”. In addition to the award ceremony, the company has planned another gift for the employees and their families – a show of performing arts “Love, poetry, and jazz”, which will immerse the audience in the harmony of art.
